In a world where Instagram is taking over the social media platform we wanted to share some of our favourite female surfers to follow. From a UK pro surfer, flying the flag for the UK on the WQS to a french surfer and artist living the dream travelling the world. These 5 talented women can not only shred the waves but they can also post a good picture too!

Here’s our 5 favourite surfers to follow on Instagram:

Courtney Conlogue
@courtneyconlogue

We love following Courtney’s feed, she has a great balance of comps, travel, art, fitness and fun times. Getting to see what the current world number 4 gets up to when she’s not battling it out for the World Surf League title is pretty cool. Conlogue’s feed is full of inspiring professional surfer content and real life, down time images.

Maud Le Car
@maudlecar

Model, surfer, artist, explorer, I mean what can’t this woman do! Her creativity and surfing talents are present all over her Instagram feed and if her tropical surf shots and video clips to make  you want to book a flight to paradise I don’t know what will. For Maud surfing and art go hand in hand and we love nothing more than seeing what colour artwork Maud adds on to her boards.

Leila Hurst
@leilahurst

Leila is effortlessly cool in her approach to surfing, her GoPro videos edits will make you laugh and also envy the fun waves she gets to shred. Hanging out with her buddies like Alana Blanchard in her home state of Hawaii we love checking in with Leila to see what fun she’s been getting up to. Leila really does look like she’s living the ultimate surfer girl lifestyle!

Lucy Campbell
@lucycsurf

The professional British surfer who’s flying the flag for Devon all over the world. Tackling the World Qualifying Series and making her mark as a UK Pro surfer. Lucy has been travelling the world for a few years now and her feed is full of bikini surfs, turquoise waters and smiles. Her fitness, travel and beers at sunset keep us all motivated to shred the waves.

Lauren Hill
@theseakin

Lauren Hill is one of the most stylish female long boarders, her graceful approach to gliding along the waves is beautiful to watch. Not only is Lauren a talented surfer, she’s not afraid to speak her mind, her video Pear Shaped, showing another side to women’s surfing went viral and caused all kinds of reactions. A passional environmentalist, activist and campaigner Lauren Hills posts are always an interesting read and we love to see female surfers standing up for what they believe in.
