Friday 9th October marks the world’s first ever film festival dedicated to celebrating women in extreme sports in the home city of Banksy: Bristol, UK.
From our 583 submissions, our hand-picked film programme will be screened at independent cinema The Cube. Confirmed speakers for our lively panel discussion on improving the representation of women in extreme sports media include the founder of Board of Media Emma Shoesmith, Guinness World Record Holder in rowing Belinda Kirk; women’s climbing coach Steve Winslow from Bloc Climbing Centre and Jenna Selby: founder of Rogue Skateboards and the director of Europe’s first female skate film.
