The Maui Pro sponsored by Roxy is on hold until further notice after a recreational surfer was attacked by a shark early Tuesday. The victim was taken to Maui Memorial Medical Center and has sadly died. Thoughts go out to his family and loved ones.
The WSL has made the decision not to continue running the heats at Honolula Bay and will find an alternative location in Hawaii to complete the Maui Pro.
