Californian lifestyle brand O’Neill launches its first eco-friendly women’s activewear line,
O’Neill Active, with an extensive collection made from recycled beach plastics. Featuring sports bras, shorts, leggings, vests and swimwear, the new line is made from high performance eco-threads by Bionic. Priced between £29.99 – £79.99, the collection will be available online from mid-March at www.oneill.com
Exploring new dimensions and injecting additional product categories, O’Neill Active blends style and function. Forming an integral part of the brands new global initiative, O’Neill Blue – Our Ocean Mission, to produce sustainable surfwear, the new range combines technical features and performance materials. Working alongside New York startup Bionic, the producers of durable and adaptable threads developed from recycled plastic bottles, O’Neill has created a multifunctional collection that takes the wearer from land to water.
With a focus on performance across a variety of disciplines including running, yoga, surfing and stand up paddle boarding, O’Neill Active merges technical properties such as UV protection, quick-drying and wicking. Complementing the high performance styling, the colour palette is popped with pinks, greens and purple, giving the collection a bright, fashionable feel.
Key pieces in the range include the flattering zip-up one-piece, slim-fit leggings, lightweight shorts, mesh-insert bra top, as well as the reversible top and matching bottoms.
