The Location – Local Area and Villas Sayulita
Sunny Sayulita is a picturesque fishing village, nestled in a gentle palm tree-lined bay just 45 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta airport. It is home to some fun surf breaks, suitable for all levels and particularly great for long boarders. The town centre is full of cafés, restaurants and quirky shops and there are plenty of places to explore in and around Sayulita.

Villas Sayulita is located on the River Nayarit, with lush tropical jungle and views of Monkey Mountain. The tranquil lodge is only 9 minutes walk from the beach and just a 12 minute stroll away from the town centre.

It has its own organic restaurant and smoothie bar, where our breakfasts will be served. There is a large pool surrounded by a beautiful garden, a roof top sun deck, a perfect spot for sunset drinks. There is also a holistic centre and spa where our yoga classes and massages will be held. Additional wellness treatments such as Reiki, Kinesiology, and Chi-gong and also a Temazcal (sweat lodge) are available. So no pressure, just surf, chill and repeat!

How to get to Sayulita…
The closest airport to Sayulita is Puerto Vallarta (PVR). There are plenty of flights from Europe, but the easiest is from London to PVR with Bitish Airways, with one change over in Dallas, Texas costing €627. Please note that if you have a stop over in the USA, you will also need to get a transit visa. For a European citizen is very easy to get this USA visa online. You’ll need to get an ESTA travel authorisation.

From Puerto Vallarta airport we will be happy to book you a taxi to Villas Sayulita at approx $50dlls one way. Where possible we will book you with other guests so you can share the cost of the taxi.

Yoga Teacher & Masseuse


Nathalie de Haaij is a certified Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga teacher (Primary Series) and also a qualified Masseuse. She is true nomad, travelling the globe and loves sharing her passion and inspiring the people she meets on the way. She is an ambassador for ultimate wellness, combining yoga, massage and healthy eating as way for people to feel amazing inside and out. Here is her link for more info:

During the retreat, she will be our Yogi guru, leading our yoga classes. 1hr morning sessions starting with meditation, breathing techniques and a gentle warm up, followed by an energetic vinyasa flow and a selection of primary series asanas (standing, seated and inversion postures). She will also be taking reservations for Balinese massage and other wellness treats.
