How do I find you?
The SurfGirl Summit will be held at the Bedruthan Steps Hotel Conference Centre. Trenance, Mawgan Porth TR8 4BU.
What are the timings for each day?
The activities always run at the start of the day from 7.45am-9.45am. From 10.15am to 4.15pm, the day is held in the conference centre with a variety of speeches and there will be time allowed for audience Q&As. The activities at the end of the day will run from 4.30-6.30pm.
Where will the activities take place?
Some of the activities will be held in the hotel’s studios. Some of the other activities will be held outdoors and on the nearby beach, weather depending.
What is happening the first evening?
On Thursday 19th we are hosting the Reef Sundowner in the evening. It’s a networking event, where you can come grab a drink, debrief and chat with your new friends about the day and listen to some cool tunes overlooking the sea with a range of cocktails and cocktails on offer. Plus there’s an outdoor chilled fire pit area to relax in.
Is there somewhere to leave my belongings if I have been surfing or swimming?
You will be able to leave any wetsuits, towels, bags from the activities in one of our designated rooms which is locked so you don’t have to carry it with you all day.
Where do I park?
There is parking on site and an overflow car park, however, please do car share where possible. You will be asked to give your car reg once you arrive in the Conference Centre.
There are lots of accommodation options available in the area, we will provide you with this information when you book your ticket. You can of course book a room at the Bedruthan Hotel to enjoy the full experience but it’s not included in the ticket price. There’s also lots of accommodation options from campsites to B&Bs in Mawgan Porth and nearby Newquay. Here’s a few options;
Scarlett Hotel – luxury hotel and spa
Merrymoor Inn – great pub with rooms
The Park – yurts, chalets, caravans
Premier Inn, Seafront, Newquay
Will the Summit provide food?
We will be providing a delicious lunch which will be available in Bedruthan’s restaurant. Coffee, tea, pastries and fruit will be freely available during the day. For dinner there are various options to suit all budgets near to the hotel in Mawgan Porth and Bedruthan has a restaurant where you can book dinner too.
If you’d like to book food in the evening at the hotel and you aren’t staying in the hotel you can book a table through reception on this number 01637861200.
Other options in Mawgan Porth are Catch Seafood Restaurant and the Merrimoor Inn. There’s also a shop in the village, Cornish Fresh.
Can I get a refund?
There are no refunds available once the tickets are purchased. If you re-sell your ticket let us know the new purchasers name and email [email protected]
