So there we were boxes full of beautiful summery clothes from the top surf brands for our Spring fashion shoot. And what was the weather doing? Storm force winds, 5 degree temps, and bouts of torrential rain. The surf was huge and blown out. Nice!
Doing a fashion shoot during a winter storm when you’re trying to make it look like summer isn’t easy! Thankfully we took shelter in The Beach Hut a beautiful wooden clad beach house overlooking Gwithian Towans and borrowed for the day courtesy of Boutique Retreats.
SurfGirl models Milly and Abbi worked their magic in this seasons latest threads whilst outside the wind howled and the rain lashed against the windows.
It didn’t stop us having a great time (lots of tea helped!) and you can see the fab results in the next issue of SurfGirl out at the end of March.
Thanks to photographer Mike Searle, Camilla Curry, Abbi Hughes, Pod Hughes, Michaela Reed for the good times yesterday and to Boutique Retreats for letting us hang out at The Beach Hut.
If you would like to stay in a beautiful beach house like this one, The Beach Hut check out Boutique Retreats cool website with lots of great properties throughout SW England. http://www.boutique-retreats.co.uk
