Maud, what’s your connection with Volcom?
Volcom has sponsored me for 4 years now. The best thing about it is that I’ve met so many amazing people working for Volcom but also from the Volcom team. When I joined the family, I met my boyfriend who already was a team rider and we have pretty much been together since.
I really feel free and supported being part of their team. They support me for everything I do and I can be myself 100%. With Volcom by my side I’m confident to show my full personality (surf, model and art) and that’s for me the best part of our relationship.
Which two pieces would you choose from Volcom’s summer range?
My two favorite pieces are Wild Marks One piece and Native Tracks LS Cropped rash guard.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by my dreams, passion, love and limitless belief that anything’s possible with positive vibes and hard work.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud to come from my small island St Martin with only two breaks and small waves. Proud because I hope it brings belief for St Martin’s young people to follow their own dreams, even if they come from “nowhere”.
What are your rules to live by?
Be fearless and make every moment of your life count.
What’s your fave post work drink?
Coconut water.
Which beach would you love to live by for the rest of your life?
Mullet bay – St Martin.
