Inspired by a long-standing love of the sea, the ‘Caught Up in A Good Thing’ swimwear story continues for 2018. The Simply Solid Swim collection is centred around the Italian-made, ocean-friendly swim fabric ECONYL® – a high-quality, 100% recyclable yarn produced from lost fishing nets and other discarded nylons up-cycled from our oceans.

Q&A ABOUT THE SS18 COLLECTION:

Has the collection been tried and tested in the surf by Coco Ho and Maud Le Car?

Yes, all of the styles have been ‘Active Approved’ and both girls surf daily in these eco-friendly bikinis. The comfort, look and feel of the new collection means the items can be worn in the surf, for yoga and training sessions too.

What is ‘Caught Up in a Good Thing’ all about?

‘Caught Up In a Good Thing’ is our eco friendly swim story that started last year, and this season the story continues to grow and evolve. For 2018 we have solidified our partnership with the global organisation Project 0, introduced Simply Solid Seamless, and added ‘fresh ink’ graphic one-pieces to the collection. The new seamless swim line is made using the same Econyl yarns as our Simply Solid collection, but at a higher percentage, 82% regenerated nylon. Not only is it more sustainable, but this higher nylon content, together with a jersey knitting technique, results in a luxurious, super-soft Italian fabric.

Is there a key new style to look out for this season – and did Georgia May Jagger have a favourite?

Our Simply Seamless Bodysuit is one of our key styles and one of Georgia’s favourites. Proceeds from the bodysuit will benefit Project 0 and their efforts to fix the world’s largest and most solvable problem – THE OCEAN. Project 0 is a global organisation working to restore and protect the world’s oceans. Check it out here.
