Renowned designer Masafumi Watanabe has created a fresh twist on surf lifestyle for autumn. Reef partnered with Masafumi Watanabe to create a one-of-a-kind capsule collection: M.W for Reef.
Masafumi, a Japanese-born, London-educated designer, is known for viewing American and British heritage through a Japanese fashion lens. For this unique collaboration, Masafumi has juxtaposed Reef’s authentic beach culture with high-end Japanese design.
As well as the autumn clothing collection there’s M.W footwear too, which delivers unique details without sacrificing everyday durability. Combining comfort and look, fashion and tradition, Masafumi put his twist on classic Reef shoes such as the Reef Rover shoe (featuring Swellular™ Technology), by adding classic, subtle colours combined with small, bright pop detailing on the Rover Low M.W and Rover Mid M.W. Masafumi’s signature print detailing also carries over to the Women’s Reef Chakras M.W sandals.
