Winter is well can truly underway – with the frosty mornings and the drop in the sea temperature. Now there is even more reason to make sure we are powering our bodies with nutrients to keep those colds away. Smoothies are a great way to kick start the day and to up your intake of vitamins and nutrients whilst on the go. These super tasty recipes are great before or after a surf to boost energy levels or just to wake us up in on those dark mornings. Blenders at the ready!

The Oaty One

2 tbsp of rolled Oats
5-7 pitted dates
200ml soya milk

The Refresher

¼ watermelon,
A handful of mint
5-7 strawberries

The Monday Mover

2 kiwis,
A handful of blueberries
½ juice of one lime
1 tbsp Alpro coconut yogurt
50ml water

Berry Blast

1 banana
2 tbsp frozen berries
2 tbsp Alpro vanilla yogurt
1 tbsp milled flaxseed and linseed
A handful of frozen mango
50ml water

Banana Blast

2 bananas
300ml soya milk
A big squeeze of honey

Top tip: If you find your smoothie is too thick then add a trop of water to the blend.
