It’s only March and already the top movie bangers for 2018 are all fronted by wonderful female characters. ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing’, ‘Lady Bird’, ‘Tomb Raider’, ‘I, Tonya’, ‘Atomic Blonde’ and not forgetting ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘Wonder Woman’ from 2017. Plus it’s not just the typically ‘female’ roles but rather the ass-kicking, super-hero ones. We hope this trend continues into 2018 and beyond… dare we say Bond, Jennie Bond?
