Kelly Sildaru, 13, Roxy team’s new member, yesterday won Gold at the 2016 X Games Aspen (USA) in the Slopestyle Ski competition. The young Estonian girl dominated the world’s best with a very technical first run where she posted a massive score of 93.00 points. Kelly landed an impressive switch left side 900, then a right side 720 and a huge left side 900 to seal the Gold.
This win makes Sildaru the youngest athlete to ever win gold at the Winter X Games, and the first Estonian to get a medal at X Games.
This victory is by far the most important one in the career of this child prodigy who already won the Dew Tour last December.
Her Roxy Team mate and Olympic Ski Champion, Dara Howell (Can) finished 5th.
