To celebrate Lemontree Eco Surfhouse's 6th anniversary, we've teamed up to give one lucky winner and a friend an autumn break: five nights in one of Europe's most special surf corners, Sagres, at the very southwestern tip of Portugal.
Sagres sits where the Atlantic properly begins. Wild cliffs, open ocean, and some of the most consistent waves on the continent, almost every day of the year. The locals call it the end of the world. Once you've stood on the Tonel cliff watching swell wrap in off the water, you'll understand why people come here and decide to stay.
Lemontree is a small, boutique surf house right in the heart of the village, just across the street from the ocean. Built by two people who spent years in the surf industry before deciding to create somewhere that actually reflected what they believed in: respect for the ocean, a slower pace, handmade touches, fresh organic breakfasts in the garden.
Mornings start with breakfast in the garden, freshly prepared from locally sourced ingredients. Then the day opens up. You might head out for a surf coaching session and spend the afternoon reviewing your footage over a coffee before a surfskate session puts it all into practice. You might hop on a bike to the Cabo de São Vicente lighthouse, or stop for an ice cream at the Italian café directly opposite the house.
Yoga in the late afternoon. One of the most extraordinary sunsets you'll see anywhere. Then dinner at one of Sagres' restaurants, or a live concert in one of the village's surfy bars. The surf is the anchor, but Lemontree works for anyone who wants to slow down somewhere beautiful and properly disconnected.

- The Lemontree Eco Surfhouse Competition is open to participants aged 18 and over.
- The competition is hosted by SurfGirl Magazine, but the stay is fully operated and managed by Lemontree Eco Surfhouse.
- Entries must be submitted via Instagram by following @surfgirlmag and @lemontree_eco_surfhouse, liking the competition post, and tagging a friend.
- The winner will be selected at random and contacted via direct message on Instagram.
- The winner must respond within 7 days, or another winner may be chosen.
- The prize is 5 nights at Lemontree Eco Surfhouse in Sagres, Portugal, for two people, including daily breakfast, 2 yoga classes, 1 surfskate lesson, 2 video analysis surf coaching sessions, and free use of surfboards, wetsuits, surf skateboards and bikes. Flights, travel insurance, and personal expenses are not included.
- The stay must be taken between 1 October and 30 November, and dates must be arranged directly with Lemontree Eco Surfhouse, subject to availability.
