LS/FF has just dropped the line up for the 14th Annual London Surf / Film Festival x Finisterre hosted 6-8 November 2025 at the iconic Riverside Studios, and it’s an epic celebration of the very best of international and homegrown surf culture.
“Over the last 15 years, it’s been a welcome evolution to see the ongoing strength in representation from women on both sides of the lens. This year is no exception with women shining a light on incredible stories from South America, Ireland, Australia, Hawaii, UK, Indonesia, The Mediterranean, USA and beyond,” says Festival Director and award-winning filmmaker Demi Taylor of the hand-picked programme that brings to the UK the very best surf films from across the globe.
There are documentaries to inspire, travel to stir the wanderlust as well as cinematography and surfing that redefine the very bounds of possibility. Seeking out big waves, big adventures and big stories from the furthest frigid fringes, overcoming the odds and exploring the notion of self, meeting underground characters that embody the spirit of our culture and finding new waves in the most unexpected places, the festival serves up fresh perspectives, new line-ups and the very pinnacle of UK contemporary creativity in the here and now.
With screenings accompanied by Q+A’s and ‘Audiences with…’ some of the world’s most relevant and exciting surf creatives like surf explorer Joaquin Azulay, adventurer Kepa Acero, surfer and activist Lucy Small and stylist Mike Lay plus a raft of game changing filmmakers including multi award winning Maddie Meddings, plus Karen Song, Seth Hughes, Dörthe Eickelberg, Jonathan Stromberg, Bella Bunce and Rodrigo Valsamis as well as a special live podcast presented by Yeti and hosted by cultural commentator Looking Sideways’ Matt Barr, good times and more, you’re not going to want to miss this!
