Whilst we eagerly await the onslaught of December Xmas films, we are embracing the dark evenings and chilly nights by indulging in a comfort movie or two. DVDs, Netflix or even an old VHS, it’s all about the golden oldies. Need some inspiration? Here are a few of our favourites:

Cold Water
The options for us are cold water surf or no surf at all and so we have decided to seize the day and take on the chilly conditions. However we do not do so begrudgingly as there are loads of benefits to cold water…. it increases your metabolism, does wonders for glowing skin and shiny hair, increases your heart rate giving us a natural does of energy for the day (great when taking a dip in the sea before work), improves immunity and circulation PLUS it eases stress and relives depression. So not only is the cold water good for us physically, it also has mental health benefits.
Little Miss Inventor
To coincide with with International Women’s Day and British Science Week, on March 8th 2018 Little Miss and Mr. Men welcome the newest member to the beloved cartoon series, Little Miss Inventor. Joining the old favourites Little Miss Sunshine, Little Miss Bossy and Mr. Tickle, the 39th Little Miss character is destined to inspire girls to pursue interests and careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematic subjects, which are notoriously male-dominated. Hooray for positive role models!
A Hot Beverage
We take on a lot of tea in the office but the autumnal weather has brought-out the adventurous tea-drinker in all of us. We are sidelining the PG Tips in place of festive brews and a potpourri of tea flavours. Spiced apple and cinnamon, chai lattes, pumpkin hot chocolates, lapsang souchong, gingerbread green tea, spiced apple … the list goes on. Pukka and Clipper do a great range or for a hot chocolate recipe to blow your socks off, head here. If getting your drink on the go, don’t forget to leave the single-use plastic products and cup and take your own!
