Summer well and truly upon us … even though some days it may not feel like it and it’s time to stop dragging our feet and get out there and enjoy it all. Before we know it we will be wrapping up in our winter gear wishing we’d embraced the summer season a little more. Here are out top tips on how to make this summer your best one yet!

Get Active

Long evenings and bright mornings mean we have more time to get out the house and get active! It’s time to make the most of the summer so let get off the sofa and get moving. Surf till the sun goes down; take a run in the park whatever it is spend as little time in doors as possible.


Add more colour into your diet

Brighten up your food this summer by adding lots of colour to your plate. Smoothie bowls and super food salads are a great way to increase the amount of vitamins and minerals you get into your body and they also look so pretty! Listen to your body and treat it with the yummy food it deserves. Indulge on fresh fruit salads, homemade ice creams and maybe the odd cocktail or two. It is summer after all.

Take up a new hobby

Use summer as your chance to learn something new. Join a surf club; try that yoga class you’ve been looking at for a while, what ever it is summer is the time to breakout your comfort zone. We are all guilty of sticking to the same things; I’ll for one will hold my hands up to this but it does us all good to try new sports, hobbies and actives. So let’s do something different!


Make new friends

It’s always great to meet new people, especially when they have the same interests as you. It may feel a little daunting initially but you’ll feel so proud of yourself for getting out there and meeting new people. Check out what clubs are in your local area and give one ago. 

Love your body

With summer comes the term “Summer Body.” Well how about we scrap this and just embrace the bodies we have?! Put on that bikini you’ve been dying to wear all year and wear it with confidence. We should all avoid feeling pressured to look a certain way especially because the seasons have changed. As long as you feel happy and healthy you’ll look wonderful!
