Hydro Flask, an award-winning leader in high-performance insulated stainless-steel bottles, has announced its 2021 Refill For Good campaign. The campaign affirms the brand’s ongoing commitment to eliminating single-use plastic and waste globally.
Refill For Good first launched in July 2020, during Plastic Free July. It was created to empower people everywhere to swap to reusable alternatives from single-use plastics that pollute green spaces, waters, and landfills. Of the estimated 8.3 billion tonnes of plastic produced since the 1950s, approximately 60% has ended up in landfill or in the natural environment having a catastrophic impact on our planet (source). The ongoing Refill for Good campaign delivers simple, achievable actions and positive insights to mitigate some of that plastic landfill waste. It is shared by Hydro Flask’s community of Refill For Good advocates which includes pro athletes, ocean scientists and worldwide thought leaders.
Through this year’s Refill For Good campaign, Hydro Flask has launched a limited-edition bottle. With $100,000 (approx. £72,000) of the bottle’s proceeds benefitting the Surfrider Foundation, this year-long partnership will help to protect the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches. The bottles are available in two sizes, 21 oz Standard Mouth and 32 oz Wide Mouth. They come in four water-inspired hues and can be purchased through Hydro Flask’s website and selected retailers. Each bottle delivers endless refills for life and features a linear #RefillForGood design. Both sizes pair a custom Flex Cap lid and durable silicone bottle boot for added protection and extra grip. Hydro Flask’s sweat-free Color Last™ powder coat is dishwasher safe and the bottle comes with a Lifetime Warranty too. TempShield™ double-wall vacuum insulation keeps drinks ice cold for 24 hours (or piping hot for up to 12) – even more reason to ditch single-use plastic bottles this summer and #RefillForGood.
