British Museum of Surfing is to present the charity event Big Wednesdays, screening one of the best surf movies of the year. First big screen showing will take a place at the Blue Crush Club on the Sands Complex in Scarborough on Wednesday January 28th 2015 at 8pm.
The first of a series Strange Rumblings in Shangri LA, by Joe G, is a mix of high performance surfing and stunning cinematography that documents unforgettable worldwide journey in search of surfing’s own Holy Grail. Created in the spirit of the classic films, it will take you on an adventure you won’t soon forget. From the frigid waters of Iceland to the tropical beauty of Mozambique. From dreamy French beach breaks to exotic islands off the coast of Brazil, and into deepest Indonesia.

All the profits from the night will support the work of the Museum of British Surfing in Braunton, the national registered charity celebrating & preserving UK surf heritage and providing community facilities.
