The Rip Curl #GromSearchOnline competition is on now util the 10th of October 2025, with a ticket to the GromSearch International Final covered by Sun Bum in Hossegor, France, up for grabs.

Since the 2024 champions were crowned in Bali last November, this year’s GromSearch series has spanned the globe with regional events across North America, Australia, Europe, Indonesia, Brazil, and South Africa, uncovering the best junior surfing talent worldwide.

The National Finals are now underway, with the winners set to converge on the wave rich coast of Southern France from November 4th – 8th, 2025 to compete for the coveted International Champion title.
The #GromSearchOnline competition launching today will allow two other lucky groms the opportunity to snag their ticket into the main event. Open to any grom on the planet under the age of 16, the virtual competition requires competitors to upload their best surfing clip to Tik Tok or Instagram, with one male and one female winner being hand-picked by none other than 2025 World Champion Molly Picklum and Championship Tour surfer Crosby Colapinto.

Since 1999, the GromSearch series has been a launching pad for over 40,000 surfers aged 16 and under. Past winners include WSL World Champions Caitlin Simmers, Caroline Marks, and Gabriel Medina.
