We’re so excited to introduce Life by SurfGirl, a brand-new, digital, month-by-month campaign designed to bring our community even closer together and share even more of what we love most: surfing, wellbeing, and life living for the surf and saltwater.
Running throughout 2026, Life by SurfGirl is all about everyday connection. It’s a place for inspiration, conversation and real-life support, whether you’re surfing every week, dreaming of your first wave, or simply drawn to the surf lifestyle. Each month will have its own theme, shaped by the seasons, the sea, and what our community needs most.
We’re kicking things off in February with a focus on the cold, calm and care. Think winter surf energy, slowing things down, looking after ourselves and each other, and finding joy in the quieter moments. Throughout the month we’ll be sharing content, information, safety tips, giveaways and plenty of good news, all designed to spark conversation and bring people together.
SurfGirl Magazine has always been about more than waves. Founded in Newquay, Cornwall, our forever home. SurfGirl exists to celebrate the fierce spirit, stories and achievements of women in surfing, from local surf clubs to global stages. We shine a light on those breaking barriers, overcoming personal, physical and mental challenges, and finding their own way in the water and beyond.
In 2026, we’re continuing that journey, but widening the lens. Life by SurfGirl looks at what surfing means outside of drop-ins, cutbacks and chasing the perfect wave. Whether you’ve been surfing for decades, are just starting out, or have never stepped foot in the sea, you’re a part of this.
This is an invitation. To engage, to share, to learn, and to support one another. To spread the surfing love a little wider, and to celebrate the everyday moments in life.
