The Wave, the world-first inland surfing lake in Bristol, has signed a new partnership agreement with Dryrobe®, the world’s leading changing robe brand. The contract renewal follows 6 years working together and marks an exciting new chapter.
The brands share a deep history and common values. Dryrobe® has been part of The Wave’s journey since day one, and both organisations are rooted in a shared love of water, waves and the outdoors. They are united in their mission to get more people active in nature all year round, while minimising environmental impact and driving social change.
The agreement comes at the beginning of a new era for The Wave, which recently had a change of ownership. It reinforces confidence in its future as a thriving, forward-thinking business and a hub for the UK’s surfing community.

As part of the partnership, Dryrobe® will continue to keep The Wave’s team of surf coaches, lifeguards and hosts warm and dry as they support, inspire and protect thousands of surfers every year. The brands will also work together on exciting sustainability initiatives, including a new scheme with Reskinned to recycle and repurpose old Dryrobe®s that are no longer fit for everyday use by the Wavemakers – as The Wave team are known.
